I built a shed so I could build stuff
I am a Landscape Architect in the Bay Area of California, and I specialize in custom residential projects. I love pools and I love Architecture.

I am fascinated by Naval Architecture, and when I discovered clay I became obsessed with boats, ships, and shipwrecks. I like to think that there are plenty of treasures hidden deep beneath the waves. I like to imagine what shapes they might hold....

History itself is murky... records and drawings lost to the ravages of time... We have a good idea of what was commonly built, but what about the one-off, the special creation of Historical cultures? Did the Byzantine Empire build a dreadnaught warship waiting to be discovered in the depths of the Mediterranean?

New shipwrecks are uncovered every year. Few are preserved as perfectly as the wreck of the John V. Moran recently discovered in an absolutely pristine state 365 feet under the surface of Lake Michigan.
